Subscription Update Obituary

     Florence E. (Reidy) Guertin, of Worcester, died Saturday, April 14th with her loving family by her side at Rose Monahan Hospice Home. Her husband of 60 years, George P. Guertin died in 2006. She is survived by two sons, George P. Guertin and his wife, Carol Ann of Holden and John F. Guertin and his wife, Barbara of Worcester; three daughters, Karen Walsh and her husband, James and Lynne Noon both of Worcester and Susan Serrato and her husband, Andrew of Paxton; her sister, Dorothy Lederer of Paxton and her daughter-in law, Sandra (Small) Guertin of Belmont,NH; twelve grandchildren, Julie Bellerose, Heather Guertin, Jessica Saliba, Colleen Guertin, Alicia Serrato, Andrew Serrato, Jr., Ashley Serrato, Christopher, Mikaela, Shaun, Alexis and Maximus Guertin; five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Joseph M. Guertin in 2002 and James V. Guertin in 2013; her brother, John Sundin and a sister, Maerita Sundin.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Arthur and Agnes (Morrissey) Reidy. Florence was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Parish and enjoyed trips to the beach, Maine and Saturday shopping trips with her daughters and daughter-in law. Most of all she enjoyed time spent with her family.
Her funeral is Wednesday, April 18th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with her funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park. Her calling hours are Tuesday, April 17th from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street, Worcester, MA 01603 or the Rose Monahan Hospice Home, 12 Judith Road, Worcester, MA 01602.
