Subscription Update Obituary

Fannie Marie Hargrove 65, of Irvington N.J, formerly of Worcester MA. Passed away on Monday May 16, 2022 with her loving daughter by her side.

She leaves to mourn her son Mario Hargrove, and his partner Leanne Hilow of Worcester MA., daughter Kala Simmons of Newark NJ, three grandchildren Tyra, Geniesa, and Eliza Hargrove all of Worcester, her sister and brother Lorri and Derrick Hargrove of Marietta Ga., and a brother Danny Hargrove of Worcester MA., 5 nephews, 2 aunts, 2 uncles, numerous cousins, and a host of friends.

Fannie was predeceased by her parents Mathis and Rosa Hargrove and her sister Brenda Hargrove.

Fannie was a graduate of North High School, Worcester MA., attended Quinsigamond College and Rob Roy Academy. She was an instructor for Rob Roy Academy for many years, as well as a regional trainer for Supercuts. While sharing her experience and knowledge, Fannie mentored many others who themselves would go on to achieve success in the field. In her later years she also worked as a prison guard and a CNA.

Fannie dedicated her life to Christ at an early age and always enjoyed sharing the word of the Gospel. Fannie enjoyed cooking, flea marketing, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family.

A Calling Hour will be on Monday, May 23, from 10:30 a.m. until a Funeral Service begins at 11:30 a.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.
