Subscription Update Obituary

     Evelyn D. (Pearson) Fotter, 79, of McCarthy Avenue in the Cherry Valley section of Leicester died Friday, Feb. 5 in UMass Memorial Hospital, Belmont Street, Worcester after an illness.

She leaves her son John P. Fotter and his wife Lisa of Cherry Valley, two daughters Kathleen M. Borjeson of Port Richie, FL and Lena A. Fotter of Palm Coast, FL, two brothers Maurice Pearson of Rutland and Jack McMenemy of Shrewsbury, two sisters Annie Dick of West Brookfield and Maureen McMenemy of Rutland, her son in law Richard Gigilotti of Worcester, 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a daughter Barbara Jean Gigilotti in 2004 and her longtime companion Frank Field in 2003.

Mrs. Fotter was born in Silver Creek, Nebraska, daughter of Dalmar P. Pearson and Veronica (Stanick) McMenemy. She was a homemaker for Elder Services for 30 years retiring in 2003. She graduated from Worcester Girls Trade School. She enjoyed going to the casino and playing cards with her friends.

Funeral services will held Monday, Feb. 8 at 11:00 AM in MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will precede the service from 10:00-11:00 AM. on Monday.
