Subscription Update Obituary

Eva Louise (Cadieux) DelFem, 96, died Saturday, January 29, 2022.

She was born in Manhattan, New York City, daughter of William and Anna (Szivac) Cadieux. Eva moved to Worcester and graduated from St. Peter’s High School. She worked as a Payroll Clerk for over 31 years at Rexnord Company, retiring in 1982. Eva was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and the First Assembly of God Church 59’ers Club. She was a member of Holden Senior Center, as well as The Prime Timers of the Church of the Nazarene in Worcester. She loved doing puzzles crossword puzzles and reading. She was an avid fan of the New England Patriots.

Eva was predeceased by her husband of 28 years, Armand DelFem in 1995 and her son, Neil Coffey in 2005. She is survived by her very dear friend Karen Mayo who was like a daughter to her and Karen’s husband James Mayo of Hudson, MA. She was also close friends with Beverly West of Worcester for over 15 years, as well as many others including her dear friend Doris Harling, who predeceased her.

A visiting hour will be held Thursday, February 3rd from 10 until 11am at Callahan, Fay and Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle Street immediately followed with a Funeral Service in the Funeral Home at 11am. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
