Estella Brown, 74 of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at The Meadows of Leicester.

Estella was born on March 14, 1949 in Winnsboro, Louisiana, a daughter of the late Isaac “Ike” and Addie M. (Morrison) Brown.  She worked as a factory worker for Polaroid for many years.

Estella is survived by two sisters, Addie Brown of Biloxi, MS. and Rosa Lee Norton of Florida; four sisters-in-law, Emma Brown and Robin LeShore both of Worcester, Inez Brown of Pensacola, FL, and Vivian Davis of St. Petersburg, FL; a son, Paul Nelson; four brothers-in-law, Columbus Steele of Worcester, James LeShore of Andover, Ricky LeShore of Plainville, and Jerry LeShore of Boston; thirty-one, nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by a son, Shaun Nelson; two brothers, Earl Brown, and Ike “Sonny” Brown; a nephew, Jackie Brown; two nieces, Cynthia Blake and Georgia Brown.

Services for Estella will be held privately.  MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements.
