It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Elizabeth A. (Savage) Dmochowski, 92, of Worcester, on Thursday, May 7, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. She was the beloved wife of the late, Richard J. Dmochowski.

Born August 19, 1933, in Worcester, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Moore) Savage. She held many jobs throughout her life. Elizabeth worked at Head Start as a teacher’s assistant, Sprague Electric, UMass Memorial as a dietary aide, and the City of Worcester as a school bus monitor. Elizabeth enjoyed her weekly lunch and shopping trips with her friends from Pout and Trout. She loved to travel especially her trips to Ireland and Florida.

We will miss Elizabeth immensely but her warm heart and love for us will live forever in our hearts.

Elizabeth is survived by her devoted children, Kathaleen A. Siebert and her husband David of Holland, John J. Hassett and his wife Janet of Houston, TX, Eileen M. Hassett and her companion Leo Owens of Worcester, Colleen L. Desrosier of Worcester, Darlene J. Delgado and her husband Ray of Largo, FL, Pauline T. Hassett of Brighton, Timothy P. Hassett and his companion Raquel Lunt of Largo, FL, and Richard W. Dmochowski and his wife Heather of Rutland; her adored thirteen grandchildren; her dear nine great grandchildren; her loving two great great grandchildren; her cherished sister Donna Norwood and her husband Stanley of Worcester; her true friend, her cat Riley, who stayed beside her until the end; and several nieces and nephews. Sadly, in addition to her parents and her beloved husband, Elizabeth was predeceased by her daughter, Maureen D. Wright, her granddaughter, her great granddaughter, five sisters and a brother.

Elizabeth will be laid to rest next to the love of her life on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 11:30am in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Elizabeth’s memory to Cancer Research at UMass Chan Medical School.
