Subscription Update Obituary

Eleanor M. (Cantwell) Gadbois, 75, of Conestoga Trail, died Tuesday, April 26 in UMass Memorial Hospital, Worcester.

She leaves her husband of 34 years, Joseph W. Gadbois, two step-daughters; Susan Welch of Cape Cod and Debra Carey and her husband Ronald of Bristol, CT, two brothers; Roderick Cantwell and Thomas Cantwell of Worcester, 5 step-grandchildren, 6 step-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Walter Cantwell and a sister Lorraine Goodale.

Eleanor was born in Boston, daughter of Walter and Mary (Cummings) Cantwell. She was a team leader at Harleysville Insurance Co. for 45 years retiring in 2008. She enjoyed gardening, floral arranging and crafts.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 6 at 10:00 AM in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer is directing funeral arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Second Chance Animal Services, P.O. Box 136, East Brookfield, MA 01515.
