Subscription Update Obituary

     Elaine T. (Garceau) Roach, 60 of Worcester, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Friday, July 13, 2018 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Elaine was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late George W. and Theresa (Gagne) Garceau and attended Burncoat High School. Elaine is survived by her husband of 10 years, John D. Roach; two sons, Seth Pittman of California and Kevin Pittman of Oxford; two daughters, Jessica Pittman of Waltham and Molly Roach of Worcester; two step-sons, Jason Roach of Clinton and Joshua Roach of Marlborough; two brothers, Paul and Gary Garceau both of Worcester; two sisters, Carol Rawlston of Worcester and Patsy Haynes of Shrewsbury; four grandchildren, Liam, Brycen, Raelynn Roach, and Ethan-Angel Martinez, who she raised as her own son; many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a brother, Alan Garceau and two sisters, Joyce Dube and Linda Williston who passed on June 29, 2018.

Elaine’s calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 5-7 pm followed by her funeral service at 7 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK. 73123.
