Subscription Update Obituary

     Elaine S. (Tetreault) Gabriel, 62 of Clinton formerly of Westborough passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Clinton Hospital.

Elaine was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late David J. and Jean I. (Rabidou) Tetreault. She was a 1976 graduate of Westborough High School.  Elaine worked for Raytheon for 32 years starting her career as a secretary and with experience worked her way up to a financial analyst.  She was very passionate about her work and deeply admired her colleagues. She enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with family especially her grandchildren.

Elaine is survived by two daughters, Tara Spiegelman and her husband Eric of Milford and Kayla Gabriel of Marlborough; her son, Timothy Drohan of Worcester; her brother, Mark Tetreault of Millbury; two sisters, Deborah Cowles of Cary, NC and Anne Tetreault of Millbury; four beloved grandchildren, Brian, Kevin and Jason Spiegelman and Ava Olson; a dear friend Frank Cintolo of Marlborough; many nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by her sister, Linda Tetreault.

Services for Elaine will be held on Friday, February 5, 2021 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:45 am in St. Anne’s Church, 130 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury.  Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.  A period of calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 4th from 4-6 pm in the funeral home. Masks and social distancing are required during services at the funeral home, church and cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: The American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005
