Edward P. Depanian, 63, died Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at Wingate of Worcester. He is survived by his beloved mother, Mildred (Kelley) Depanian; three brothers, David and his wife Sandra of Worcester, Michael and his wife Linda of Paxton, and Henry Depanian, Jr. of Worcester; two sisters, Claire Winer and her husband David of North Carolina and Debra McClellan of Arizona; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Edward was born in Worcester, son of Mildred and the late Henry Depanian Sr. He was a Vietnam Veteran in the U.S. Army, 82nd Airborne (“a go-go”), although he ” … never got used to jumpin’ out of airplanes”. Ed was a Master Carpenter. His career spanned more than 40 years and his love for the trade is displayed in his work throughout Worcester and the region. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with family and friends, Bugsy, golf, and a good game of poker.

A graveside service will be held at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton in the Garden of Honor on Monday, April 3 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Veteran’s Inc., 69 Grove Street, Worcester MA 01605.
