Subscription Update Obituary

    Edward J. Polissack, 61, of 150 Country Club Blvd, died yesterday in St. Vincent Hospital.  He was a classifier at Norton Co. for 30 years. 

    He leaves his wife, Florence L. (Marshall) Polissack; three sons, Henry Polissack of Holyoke, and John and Edward J. Polissack Jr., both of Worcester; three daughters, Carol Henry, Marybeth and Robyn Polissack, both of Easthampton; four brothers, Robert, Frank and Joseph Polissack, all of Worcester, and Steven Polissack in Colorado; a sister, Rose Marshall of Worcester, and six grandchildren.  He was born in Worcester, son of Walter and Mary Polissack. 

    He was a Navy veteran of World War II.  Mr. Polissack was a member of the Church of Christ and Post 9, Veterans of Foreign Wars. 

    Private funeral services will be at 11 am tomorrow in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St.  The Rev. Bruce Rollins will officiate.  Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.  There are no calling hours.  The family requests flowers be omitted.  Memorial contributions may be made instead to the Retired Senior Volunteer Program for Aged Center, Worcester Center.
