Subscription Update Obituary

   Edna D. (Brodeur-Lapierre) Dubois, 80, of 102 Cranberry Meadow Road died Friday, Feb. 15 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

She leaves her husband of 57 years, Raymond A. Dubois, two sons Paul A. Dubois and his wife, Kerri of Sandy, Utah, David R. Dubois and his wife, Denise of Spencer, two daughters, Paula J. Dembkoski and her husband, Stephen of Norfolk, VA, Diane A. Kady of Tampa, FL, 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by two brothers, Clovis and Edmond Brodeur and two sisters, Irene Dupuis and Helen Torraco.

Mrs. Dubois was born in Marlborough, MA, daughter of Arthur and Alma (Labossiere) Lapierre. She graduated from the Sisters of the Assumption Academy in Nicole, Quebec, Canada in 1947. She worked in the Accounting Department at the American Optical in Southbridge for 36 years retiring in 1990. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, going to the beach and spending time with her grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Monday, Feb. 18 from J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terrace, Spencer with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church Street, Spencer. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held from 9:30 – 10:30 AM prior to the Mass.
