Subscription Update Obituary

     Edith M. (Smith) Henderson, 85 formerly of 271 No.Main St., died Monday, Feb. 9 at Homestead Hall Rest Home in Worcester.

She was the wife of Charles G. Henderson who died in 1996. She leaves five daughters Jacqueline Henderson and her husband James Gordon, Brenda Oldroyd and her husband Dennis, Phyllis Cabral and her husband Daniel, Elaine Henderson and her partner Joseph Dupell and Linda Sokowaski and her husband Mark, two sons Charles Henderson and his wife Maureen and Bruce Henderson and his wife Karen, five grandchildren Elizabeth, Marshall, Lucas, Olivia and Christian.

Edith was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church of Leicester where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed camping, RVing and dogs.

Private services will be held at a later date with committal in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer’s Assoc. of MA, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
