Subscription Update Obituary

     Edgar J. Boisjolie 78, of Fox Run, died Saturday, April 15 at his home surrounded by his family.
He leaves his wife of 58 years, Patricia I. (Fahey) Boisjolie, his brother Leo D. Boisjolie and his wife Marion of Spencer, sister in laws Mickey Mandeville and Jacklynn Howard both of Spencer, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a sister Gloria Trudeau, nephews Leo Boisjolie III and Kenneth Trudeau.
Born in Worcester, he was the son of Leo and Rose (Rivard) Boisjolie and lived in Spencer before moving to Brookfield in 2005.
Edgar worked at the former Baystate Abrasives in Westboro before retiring in 1999. He previously was a longtime shoe worker at Brookfield Athletic Shoe and Ware Shoe Companies.
He was a member of the Spencer Fish & Game Club, Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish and St. Anne-St. Patrick’s Parish in Fiskdale. He enjoyed his trips to the casino and was known as the “family chef”. Edgar enjoyed traveling and treasured the many wonderful long time friends he met in Aruba over the past 20 years.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 19 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. A calling hour will precede the funeral from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Central Mass. Hospice, 191 Pakachoag St., Auburn, Ma. 01501.
