Subscription Update Obituary

     Dorothy R. (Farnon) McCauliff, “Nana” of Brookfield passed away peacefully, Friday, May 18th in her home with her loving family at her side. Her husband of 46 years, John S. McCauliff, died in 1995. She is survived by four daughters, Patricia Girard and her husband, Raymond of Brookfield, Margaret Butler and her husband, Leo of Moycok, NC, Barbara Ghizzi of Brookfield and Mary Goulet and her husband, Arthur of Brookfield; her son, Stephen McCauliff of Punta Gorda, FL; another son, Thomas McAuliff predeceased her. Eight grandchildren, many great- grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter and her dearest cousin, Carol Youngstrom of Worcester. She was predeceased by her sister, Grace Lanoue.

She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Joseph and Grace (Leighton) Farnon. Mrs. McCauliff had been employed by U Mass in Environmental Services retiring as a supervisor after 25 years of service in 1992. Dorothy enjoyed making jigsaw puzzles, traveling, visiting Ireland and the beaches of Cape Cod and Lake Winnipesaukee.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to VNA Care, especially Sandy and Mary LIsa for the kind attention, care and support they provided.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Please make memorial contributions to VNA Care, 120 Thomas Street, Worcester, MA 01608. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is assisting the family with arrangements.
