Dorothy N. (Spills) Holmberg, 87, of Worcester, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2011 in Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of sixty-six years, Henry R. Holmberg; three sons, Kurt D. Holmberg of Wasilla, Alaska, Keith S. Holmberg and Kent M. Holmberg both of Worcester; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren. She was born in Worcester, daughter of John and Dorothy (Newton) Spills.
Dorothy worked for many years in the Worcester Public School System, retiring from Elm Park Community School. She spent her years in the school system working in the cafeteria nourishing the young people of Worcester, with a hot meal and a warm smile.
There are no calling hours.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 6, at 11 a.m. in The Garden of Faith at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
