Subscription Update Obituary

    Dorothy M. (Landry) Trottier, 73, of Worcester, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 13, 2016.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Donald A. Trottier of Worcester; her three children, Marie Wegener of Worcester, Donna Mohamed and her husband John of Boxborough, and Donald Trottier and his wife Sarah of Chicopee. She was also a Nana to twelve grandchildren; and a Great Nana to four great-grandchildren. Dorothy is also survived by two sisters, Joan Powlics of Worcester and Barbara Wilson of Worcester, and a brother, Richard Landry of Worcester. She is predeceased by two sisters and one brother. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Fred and Leora (Noble) Landry.

Dorothy was retired from the Sisters of Mercy Centre in Worcester where she was a Certified Nursing Assistant for 42 years. She was an active member of the Y and she enjoyed crocheting and spending time with family and friends.

The funeral will be held Friday, March 18, 2016 from Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, with a 10:00 am Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove Street, Worcester. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Thursday, March 17 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital , 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
