Subscription Update Obituary

Dorothy C. (Kniskern) Poulin,83, died peacefully in her home on Saturday, February 29,2020 after a short illness.

She is survived by her daughter Ann Marie Shea and her husband Joseph of Spencer; a son James and his wife Jacqueline of Auburn; sisters Shirley Rodgers of Shrewsbury and Patricia Martin of Thetford VT and her companion George Roberts of Auburn. She leaves a legacy of 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; many nieces & nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert G. Poulin, Sr.; a daughter Debra Cogoli; a son Robert G. Poulin, Jr. and a brother Robert Kniskern of Millbury.

Dorothy was born in Worcester and worked for many years as a Nursing Assistant at the Masonic Nursing Home and other area nursing homes. She was a longtime member of the Chester P. Tuttle American Legion Post 279 in Auburn. In her earlier days she enjoyed square dancing and was a round dance caller. She loved camping, traveling, playing cards, arts and crafts, and collecting various items. She will be greatly missed by everyone.

The funeral for Dorothy will be held on Thursday, March 5,2020 at 11:30am in Pillsbury Funeral Home 44 Gilbert St. North Brookfield. A calling hour will be held from 10:30-11:30am prior to the funeral. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
