Subscription Update Obituary

Dora Rose Cordeiro 95 of 4 Ashley st., died on May 6, 2023. Her son John died 2 years ago on the same day. She was born in Taunton, Ma. daughter of Rose and Marcus Mueda.

She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.

She is survived by her daughter Doreen Rose Mooney and James of Sutton and her brother Richard Welcome and his wife Pam; grandchildren Marlena Purdy and her husband Steve, Brittany Gilmore and her husband Sean, James Mooney and his fiancée Taylor Campisi Norve, John Mooney and Thomas Mooney; great grandchildren Demi Keefe and her husband Cameron, Tatum Brunette and her husband Chris, Steven Purdy Jr., John Anthony Purdy and Addelyn Gilmore; great grandchildren Olivia and Madilyn Brunette and Liam Casey Keefe. She is predeceased by her husband John R Cordeiro ll, her son John R. Cordeiro lll and her longtime partner Robert DeLibertis.

She worked as a head dining room attendant at Worcester State Hospital before retirement. The proud matriarch of five generations, she adored her family and watching them grow. She loved Dancing, Camping at Pine Acres, Traveling, visiting her timeshare in Orlando Florida and Foxwoods.

Calling hours are Tuesday, May 9 from 6-8 p.m. at Dirsa-Morin Funeral Home 298 Grafton st. Worcester. A funeral service will be held Wednesday May 10 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.

Everyone is invited afterwards to the Tuttle post, 88 Bancroft st. Auburn.
