Donald R. Smith, 65, passed away December 10, 2012 at home after an illness. His wife Carole Ann (Ushinski) Smith passed away in 1995. He is survived by his brother Robert L. Smith and his wife Paula and their children Nicole and Rachel. His sister Muriel Smith predeceased him. Donald was born February 13, 1947, son of the late Mary E. (Weaver) and Donald R. Smith. He served proudly in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was a mechanic at McFee & Newton Auto for many years. While at home in Grafton Donald adored his pets, particularly his cats.      All are invited to a calling hour for Donald Friday December 14th from 10am-11am at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N.Grafton MA 01536 followed by a funeral service at 11am at the funeral home. He will then be laid to rest at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
