He leaves 7 children Donna, Stephen, Karen,Nancy, Janine, Denise and Douglas, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and a close friend Earl King. Donald was born in Shrewsbury, MA. the son of William and Doris (Beauregard) Hesselton and lived many years in Worcester, Barre and Athol before moving to Hubbardston. He was a US Navy Veteran serving on the USS Forrestal. Don worked many years at Harvard Forest in Petersham until he retired.
A private graveside service will be held in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Pillsbury Funeral Home 96 S.Barre Rd. Barre.
