Derek M. Lewis, 51 of Barre, died on Thursday June 15th at home.

He leaves his mother, Janet (Lewis) Logan and his sister, Laurie (Lewis) Howard, her husband Ray, and his nieces and nephews: Tyler, Sadie, Sophia, Nikoli and Lola, whom he loved so much.

Derek also leaves siblings Shane, Stephen, Jason and Shannon, his many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and a special person in his life Lisa Daviau and their fur babies Sassy & Max. He is predeceased by his father Don Aubin, his stepfather Edward Logan, and his grandparents Clifton and Anne (Carbone) Lewis and Edward and Gloria (Dumont) Aubin.

Derek grew up in Worcester and worked for F.W. Webb in Auburn. He previously worked for DH Adams in Worcester. Derek was one of the friendliest people on this earth. He talked to everyone.He was sensitive, generous,and kind, with a warm smile and beautiful blue eyes.

Derek also faced many struggles in his life. He worked so incredibly hard to overcome them, and we are so very proud of him. He is loved more than he ever knew, and he deserves to finally be at peace. Until we meet again Derek…

Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours from on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 from 5:00-8:00PM in Pillsbury Funeral Home 96 S. Barre Rd. Barre. The funeral for Derek will be held on Wednesday,June 28,2023 with a service at 11:00AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northeast Addictions Treatment Center 36 Miller
