Subscription Update Obituary

Dennis F. Bean, 65 years old, of Palm Bay, Florida, formerly of Paxton, Massachusetts, died unexpectedly in his home on December 24th, 2022. Dennis graduated from St. Bernard’s Catholic High School in Fitchburg, MA, and Assumption College in Worcester, MA. Dennis spent 30+ years in the banking industry, played rugby for the Worcester Rugby Club, and was an avid mountain-biker. One of his proudest achievements was remodeling his home in Paxton with his 4 boys. Upon retiring, he moved to Florida, where he enjoyed fishing and being at the beach.

Dennis leaves behind his wife of 35 years, Marlene, of Palm Bay, FL; His son John Bean, his wife Jennifer, and grandson Cameron of Rutland, MA; son Christopher Bean and grandson Aaron of Leicester, MA; son Kevin Bean and Dominika Cwalinski of Rutland, MA; and son Michael Bean of Maitland, FL.

Dennis also leaves behind his sister Kate Benoit of Lunenburg, MA; brother Brian Bean and his wife Tracy of Phillipston, MA; brother Patrick Bean and his wife Pat; sister Anne Schroth and her husband Tim of Fitzwilliam, NH; brother Jim Bean of Melbourne, FL; brother John Bean and his wife Karen of Clifton Park, NY; sister Sheila Connor and her husband Brian of Ashburnham, MA; his sister Patricia Bean of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews. Dennis was predeceased by his parents, Robert, and Barbara Bean.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, January 24, 2023, from 4-7 PM at Miles Funeral Home in Holden, MA. A celebration of his life will be held the following day, Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at St. Columba Church in Paxton, MA at 10 AM, followed by a private burial at Worcester County Memorial Park.
