Subscription Update Obituary

Deborah L. Stevens. 69, of Worcester, passed away, Monday, April 25th in St. Vincent Hospital after an illness surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her brother, Robert A. Stevens; two sisters, Roxanne Stevens McKeon and her husband Kevin and Nancy J. Campbell of Worcester; a niece, Katie McKeon and two nephews, Christopher Campbell and Dan Caroll whom she loved very much.

She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Everett G. and Gaye M. (Beckwith) Stevens and was a graduate of Worcester State College. She had worked as a nurses aide before retiring from Memorial Hospital in 2000. Deborah was an active member of St. Peter’s Church and was involved in the parish community. She looked forward to the summer months and trips to to Block Island and the beach with her sister Nancy. Deb enjoyed the simple things in life and soaking up the sun with her family by the pool.

Her funeral is Saturday, April 30th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with her funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Peter’s Church, 931 Main Street. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 8:30 until 9:30 a.m. on Saturday in the funeral home.
