David W. Mulcahy, III passed away at UMASS Memorial Medical Center from complications of a medical emergency on January 22nd, 2023 with his loving family by his side.

He is survived by his siblings and respective spouses, Cheryl and Mark Logee, Sharon and John Barry, Lisa and Joseph Desroches, Marlene Mulcahy, Mark and Veronica Mulcahy, Patrick and Maureen Mulcahy, Daniel and Christine Mulcahy, and Ryan Mulcahy. He also leaves many loving nieces and nephews.

David was the son of the late Julienne and David Mulcahy, Jr. and graduated from Doherty Memorial High School in 1977 and attended Worcester State College. He spent many years working along the side his father at Dave’s Exxon Station. David held various jobs including bartender at the Wexford House. He was proud of his Canadian French and Irish heritage and carried “the luck of the Irish”. He always enjoyed winning a competitive game of pitch or pool especially with Kenny and his friends from Crescent Manor.

David was an avid New England sports fan and enjoyed NFL football in the fall always looking forward to the next Superbowl, World Series, NBA Championship and Stanley Cup. He loved spending time with his family; holiday parties and events were very special to David. David always loved nature, whether fishing at the lake, Mount Wachusett in the fall, sitting by the campfire with his brothers or visiting Hampton Beach with his sisters, spending time outdoors was always his passion. He was the kindest soul and generous beyond words. He will truly be missed by all his family and friends.
The family would like to thank the 7ICU nurses for their dedication and support.

David’s visitation and funeral service is Wednesday, January 25th in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Memorial contributions may be made in David’s memory to Crescent Manor, 5 Crescent Street, Grafton, MA 01519.
