David P. Lagace, 59, of Strafford, New Hampshire, formerly of Worcester, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry, New Hampshire.

David is survived by the love of his life, Candy Snyder; Candy’s children, Nathan Rand and his fiancé Amy Conti of Auburn, Nicholas Snyder and his companion Athena Wetzel of Newmarket, NH, and Heather Hale and her husband Rob of Dover, NH; a sister, Janice Lagace and her love Neil Bond of Worcester; two brothers, Mark Lagace and his wife Lynn of Auburn, and Michael Lagace of Douglas; many nieces and nephews.  David was born in Worcester, son of the late, Ronald H. and Georgiana (Morin) Lagace.  He graduated from Holy Name High School and Worcester Technical Institute, and lived in Worcester for many years, before moving to Strafford five years ago.

David was a Quality Engineer for Bose Corporation, having previously worked for Data General and GenRad Company.  David was a competitive power lifter in the 1980’s and held the state Title for several years.  He was a life-long Jets fan, to the chagrin of his family.  He was a Jack Daniels Squire, and enjoyed all the entitlements that came with being a member.

He enjoyed a fine cigar, a good glass of Jack Daniels, hot dogs, and relaxing by the lake.  He enjoyed travel, was a great cook and loved to prepare meals on the grill.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 1, at 11 a.m., preceded by an hour of visitation from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.  Inturnment will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.

In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to The American Heart Association, 300 5th Avenue, Waltham, MA 02451 or The American Diabetes Association, 260 Cochituate Rd #200, Framingham, MA 01701.
