Subscription Update Obituary

     David P. “Packy” Fournier, 63, passed away Tuesday, January 27th. David leaves his four children, David P. Fournier, II of St. Petersburg, FL, Daniel K. Fournier, Matthew T. Fournier and his wife Laurie and Ashley R. Fournier all of Worcester; his grandchild, Casen M. Fournier of St. Petersburg, FL; his fiance, Gail E. Montville of Worcester; his brother, Robert T. Fournier of Nevada; two sisters, Deborah C. O’Neil of Chelmsford and Karen S. Epstein of West Boylston and many nieces and nephews.

David was born in Astoria, OR the son of Henry D. and Bertha M. (Linkenhoker) Fournier. He graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in Worcester. Packy was the bar manager at Suney’s Pub & Restaurant for 40 years. Packy was a 20 year member of the High Noon Group where he served as treasurer. He enjoyed following the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins and Celtics.

Packy’s visiting hours will be held on Friday, January 30th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at CALLAHAN, FAY & CASWELL FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. His Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 31st at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St. Interment will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be made to High Noon Club c/o Covenant United Methodist Church, 24 Hamilton St., Worcester, MA 01604.
