Subscription Update Obituary

     David H. Steuterman, 70, of Worcester passed away Monday, June 2, 2014 with his family by his side. He leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Barbara (Dixon) Steuterman, whom he met while they were in 7th grade; his son, Stephen Steuterman and his wife, Stacy; his daughter, Cheryl Millett and her husband, William and his grandchildren, Caitlyn and Zachary Millett, Alex Shilvock, Shane Steuterman and another grandson on the way. He also leaves a brother, Bob and sisters, Janet Allard, Judy Martin and Teri Hopkins along with loving sisters and brother in laws and many nieces and nephews.

     He was born in Worcester the son of Henry and Theresa (Beauvais) Steuterman. After attending Worcester Boys Trade, Dave joined the United States Coast Guard, proudly serving his country for 4 years. Dave and Barb reconnected in 1961 and joined hands in marriage on December 21, 1963.

     David loved spending time with his grandkids and visiting Steve and his family in San Diego. He loved the beach and ocean, reading and working around his house and yard. Dave had a unique sense of humor and he was always making others laugh while cracking himself up.

     Dave worked for UPS for 20 years and was a data technician at UMass Memorial doing telecommunications for several years. A special thanks to Judy for her loving support.

     His funeral is Monday, June 9th in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street with a Mass at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to VA Hospital, 150 South Huntington Ave., Jamaica Plains, MA 02130. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
