David F. O’Coin, of Seabrook NH, a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend, passed away at home on Friday, June 16th, 2023. He was 56 years old.

Born in Worcester, MA on December 19th, 1966, David was the son of Winifred (Dowd) and the late Francis O’Coin. Raised and educated in Worcester, David attended Doherty Memorial High School and graduated in 1985. From there he went on to attend college. Followed by a career as a machinist.

If you asked David what his greatest accomplishment was he would tell you it was being a father. He loved his children more than anything in this world. This past year, he was proud to become a grandfather welcoming his first grandchild.

David loved to fish, spend time with family, see live music and attend car shows. He loved being outdoors, biking and always having a fishing pole with him. He had an adventurous spirit and was infamous for his “short cuts”. His heart and home were always open to his family and friends.

David is survived by his children; Pamela D. O’Coin of Wilbraham, MA, Christina A. O’Coin and his grandson Camron of North Brookfield, MA, and David M. O’Coin and his wife Amanda of Greenbush, ME, his mother, Winifred (Dowd) O’Coin of Hampton, as well as his sisters, Elaine Pierce and her husband KC of Southbridge, MA, Paula (Hooper) O’Coin of Hampton, NH, and Winnie Marsden of Barnstable, MA. In addition to his father, David is predeceased by his brother and best friend Michael O’Coin.

Family and friends are welcome to gather to honor and remember David at a graveside memorial service on Saturday, July 1st at 10 am at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton, MA 01612. Followed by a celebration of life at the American Legion, 885 Pleasant St. Paxton, MA 11am to 3pm, where guests are invited to share their favorite photos and memories of David.
