It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of David A. Deso, 69, of Worcester, Ma on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.

Born in Worcester on December 19, 1956, David was the son of the late Clayton Albert Deso, Jr and Virginia (McAvey) Becker.

David proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Following his military service, he dedicated over 30 years of his career as a water treatment plant operator at Upper Blackstone in Worcester MA.

In his personal life, David loved music, especially the Rolling Stones and the Beatles, and spent many hours collecting coins. He was also a faithful Patriots fan and enjoyed watching the game with his family every Sunday.

Above all, David was a loving and devoted father. A protector and a steady presence, he always showed up for his daughters. A gentle giant with a great sense of humor, he never failed to make his girls laugh.

David is survived by his loving daughters, Jillian Webber of Northampton, MA, Jamie Palaima of N. Oxford, MA and Jenny Mossey of Woodstock, CT; his sisters, Deborah Deso-Davenport and Sharon Deso Scribner; his sons in law, Chris, Ryan and Bryan; adored grandchildren, Adaline, Harry, Nikki, Amanda, Chloe and James and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Sadly, in addition to his parents, David was predeceased by his brother and best friend Darrell Deso Sr and daughter Jody Herrera.

Though David is no longer with us, we will forever miss him, we will carry him with us in all that we do.

Calling hours will be held for David on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 1:00p.m. until his Memorial Service at 2:30p.m. at the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.
