Subscription Update Obituary

     Clara M. (Babineau) Bachand, 91, of Pleasant St., in the Rochdale section of Leicester, died Sunday, Sept. 22 at Life Care Center of Auburn.
     She leaves her husband of 47 years, Francis G. Bachand, four sons Raymond Dufresne and his wife Beverly of Ogunquit, Me., Gerard Dufresne and his wife Maryann of Auburn, Michael Bachand and his wife Erin of Dover, NH., and Brian A. Bachand and his wife Angela of Worcester, three daughters Marie Smith, Nancy Perkins and her husband James, and Emily Perkins and her husband David all of Rochdale, a sister Bernadette McAdams of Spencer, 18 grand, 28 great grand and 6 great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a brother Armand Babineau and a sister Anna Dupuis.
     Clara worked as a spinner at the former Carleton Woolen Mills in Rochdale for more than 20 years, retiring in 1972.
     She enjoyed knitting and sewing. Her family wishes to acknowledge the doctors and nurses at Auburn Life Care for the exceptional care of their mother.
     Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 10 a.m. in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4 to 7p.m.
