Subscription Update Obituary

Claire S. (Becklund) Eisnor passed peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 after a long illness surrounded by her loving family. She leaves her husband of 64 years, William T. Eisnor; eleven children: Dianne and husband Brian Johnson, Susan Eisnor, Karen and husband John Cole, William T. Eisnor, Jr. and wife Joanne, Thomas Eisnor, Steven Eisnor and wife Nancy, Judith Eisnor, Richard Eisnor and wife Linda, Robert Eisnor and wife Cathy, David Eisnor and wife Elizabeth, and Christopher Eisnor; 25 beautiful grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.

Claire was born and lived most of her life in Worcester, the daughter of Otto and Signe (Anderson) Becklund. She enjoyed playing Bingo and many happy times with her family.

The family would like to thank Paulette Hallihan from UMass Hospice and all the wonderful people who cared for their mother Claire.

Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Thursday, June 16 from 4-7 pm at CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. Claire’s funeral service will be held on Friday, June 17 at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Please omit flowers. Memorial donations may be made in Claire’s name to the GI & Hepatology Research & Education Fund, c/o Dr. Richard Rothstein, Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Suite 4C, Lebanon, NH 03756.
