Subscription Update Obituary

     Claire B. Perron, 80, of 24 Howe Village, died Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester. She was the wife of Alfred G. Perron, Sr., who died in 2007.
She leaves four sons; Alfred G. Perron, Jr. and his wife Edith, Arthur J. Perron, Gerald E. Perron and his wife Michelle, and Richard P. Perron and his wife Tina all of Spencer; a daughter, Claire B. Harding and her husband Philip of Spencer; a sister, Gloria Perron of Spencer; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Arthur & Olivina (Guilmette) Gadbois. Mrs. Perron was a press operator at Lundquist Tool in Worcester, retiring in 1994.
She was a former member of the Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish in Spencer and its St. Anne’s Sodality as well as the St. Mary’s Women’s Guild.
She was most recently a member of St. John the Baptist Church in East Brookfield. She was a former 4H Leader. She enjoyed playing BINGO and making chocolates and fudge for her family and friends.
The funeral will be held Monday, April 11 from the J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer, with a Mass at 10 A.M. in St. John the Baptist Church, No. Brookfield Rd., East Brookfield. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are 4-6 P.M. Sunday in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Church, No. Brookfield Rd., East Brookfield, MA 01515.
