Subscription Update Obituary

    Charles R. LeCourt, 72, of Hadley formerly of Auburn died on Friday, November 19th in the Umass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus after an illness.

    He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Doris Y. (Jette) LeCourt of Hadley, MA; a daughter, Donna L. LeCourt of Hadley, MA; a sister, Alice F. Landry of Conway, SC and many nephews and nieces. Mr. LeCourt was born in Fitchburg son of the late Charles H. and Mary L. (Belanger) LeCourt and lived in Worcester most of his life.

    Charles is a veteran of the United States Army and was the owner of the Panda Lounge and the Paddock Lounge. He also previously worked as a barber in Whitinsville and Framingham.

    The funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 23rd from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with a Mass at 9:30 AM in Saint Joseph Church, 189 Oxford St. Auburn. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Monday, November 22nd from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to either the South Worcester Neighborhood Center, 47 Camp Street, Worcester, MA 01603 or to the MSPCA, 350 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130.
