Subscription Update Obituary

     Charles F. “Pee Wee” Carlos, 74, of Worcester died Friday, September 11th in St. Vincent Hospital. He is survived by his loving family his mother, Muriel E. (Carlos) Anderson of Worcester; four brothers, Alan C. Anderson of Rochester, NY, Kim L. Anderson of Worcester, Robert R. Anderson of Leicester and Curtis W. Anderson, Jr. of Worcester; three sisters, Barbara C. Harris, Gayle E. Anderson and Janice L. Anderson all of Worcester and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Diana G. Jones, Allison Anderson and his stepfather, Curtis W. Anderson, Sr.

He was born in Camden, South Carolina and moved to Worcester at the age of 6 and lived here most of his life, returning to Worcester after he retired in 2009. Charles was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked in the housekeeping department at the VA Hospital in Brockton. Pee Wee was an avid sports fan who enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, reading and playing cards on the weekends with his family. He was a movie buff who should have been on Jeopardy.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 18th at 11:00 AM in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Renal Department at St. Vincent Hospital, 123 Summer Street, Worcester, MA 01608. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
