Subscription Update Obituary

     Charles F. “Franny” Brewer, Jr., 66, of Whitinsville passed away Thursday Nov. 20th 2014 with his family by his bedside after a short illness.

Franny is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 37 years, Linda Brewer; His two daughters, Shelby Clark and her husband Russell, April Burke and her husband Brian: his daughter-in-law, Kelly Brewer; his five grandchildren, one great grandson and lots of family and friends. A son, Charlie Brewer III pre deceased him.

Franny was born in Worcester, his parents were Charles F. Brewer Sr. and Beatrice E. (Couture) Brewer. He joined the United States Navy during the Vietnam War serving proudly from 1965-1968.

Franny worked as a technician for Charter Communications Company. He was an avid New England Sports fan who loved following the New England Patriots and collecting all things Patriots. Franny also enjoyed taking long drives with his wife, dinner and a movie.

Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family, (Tonight) Monday, November 24th from 4 pm to 7 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. A prayer service will follow at 7 pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Danny Thomas Way, Memphis Tenn. 38105.
