Subscription Update Obituary

Charles E. "Buster", also known as "Little Beaver" Richardson, 61, of Worcester, a kind, and giving person who would do anything for his friends and to better his community, passed away Friday, May 18th in St. Vincent Hospital after a brief illness.

Buster is survived by his lifetime partner Kathy Gallo; two sons, Charles A. Richardson of Worcester, and Cyle E. Richardson in Oregon; seven daughters, Tenah Murphy, Love Richardson, Billie Joe Rodriguez, and Naomi Richardson all of Worcester, Candia Flynn in Montreal, Yolanda McKinney in Portland, Oregon, and Reanna Taylor of Webster; three sisters, Ethel I. Toney and Clarice M. Agyemang both of Worcester and Frances M. Garnett of Ashland; two brothers, Michael F. Richardson, and Robert Johnson both of Worcester; 19 grandchildren; 1 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. His parents Clarence and Helen (Wilson) Richardson predeceased him.

Buster was a Native American, a member and sub chief of the Nipmuc Nation Indian Tribe. He was very active with the Grafton Reservation and spent many years operating the cook shack at the annual Pow Wow affair. He was also a longtime Harley Davidson enthusiast and member of the Vietnam Veterans Motorcycle Club.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 23rd at 11:00 a.m. in the Mount Sinai Church of God, Wellington St. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, May 22nd from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL; 370 Plantation St has been chosen to assist the family with arrangements.
