Subscription Update Obituary

Cecile Harpin (Berube) Costa age 80 passed away at her home with her loving family at her side, Jan. 21, 2022. She leaves her husband of 26 years Joseph B. Costa of Webster, two daughters, Linda Laney and her husband Jim of N. Brookfield and Sue Pataky and her husband George of Leicester, three sons Craig Costa and his wife Michelle of Georgia, Gary Costa of Woodstock, CT and Todd Costa and his wife Darcy of Dudley. Cecile also had 9 loving grandchildren.  She also leaves four brothers, Jerry Berube of FL, Leo Berube of Oakham, Andy Berube of Webster and George Berube of Douglas, three sisters Pauline Binkley of CA, Queenie Iacono of NH and Louise Trudeau of Douglas.  Cecile had a brother and sister that predeceased her, Mo Berube of Douglas and Teresa Bouley of FL. She was also predeceased by her first husband, Arthur E. Harpin.

Cecile was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Armand Berube and Lauretta (Sawyer) Berube and lived in Webster for the past 26 years.  Cis will be remembered for her devotion to her faith and family.

There are no calling hours, services will be held on Sunday, February 6th at 1:00pm in the First Baptist Church, 33 East Main St. Webster. The services will also be live-streamed. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA at a later date.  Family requests flowers be omitted.
