Subscription Update Obituary

     Cecelia M. (Troy) Jalbert, 71, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2014 at the Lutheran Home in Worcester.

She leaves her husband of 53 years, Joseph T. Jalbert, Sr., their children; Joseph T. Jalbert, Jr. and his wife Maura of Barre, Nina M. Arsenault and her husband David of Southbridge and David Jalbert and his companion Nova Presby of Charlton, 3 brothers; John Troy of GA., Walter and Arthur Troy both of Worcester, 2 sisters; Clair Jalbert of Spencer and Naomi Davidson of Worcester, 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Cecelia was born in Newport, R.I. the daughter of John and Gladys (Izzo) Troy and has lived in Charlton many years.

She was a former branch manager of Webster First Federal Credit Union in Dudley, prior to that she worked for the former Charlton Credit Union.

Cecelia was active for many years at the former St. John’s Episcopal Church in Worcester and then became an active member with Zion Lutheran Church in Oxford and was also involved with the bible study group at church.

“Her family was her pride and joy”, and she will be dearly missed by all.

Calling Hours will be Wednesday, August 6, 2014 from 6PM to 8 PM at the ROBERT J. MILLER-CHARLTON FUNERAL HOME, 175 Old Worcester Rd., in Charlton.

The Funeral will be Thursday, August 7, 2014 at 10 AM at Zion Lutheran Church, 70 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
