Subscription Update Obituary

     Catherine M. (Legere) Morin, 66, of Evelyn St., passed away at home on Sunday, July 10th, after a brief illness.

She leaves her two daughters, Kimberley D. Chernisky and her husband Russell of Marlboro and Erin J. Morin of Southbridge; a brother, Paul H. Legere of Naples, FL; a sister, Carol M. Jette – Laventure and her husband Paul of Shrewsbury; three granddaughters, Alyssa Chernisky, Emily Chernisky and Jennifer Chernisky; and several nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester the daughter of Henry J. and Florence T. (Drumgool) Legere. Catherine worked as a clerical assistant for the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority in the Auburn office prior to retiring several years ago. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cross stitch, and sewing. Catherine was very creative and used her talent to donate gifts she had made to charities, friends, and family members. She also enjoyed attending Summit Elder Care in Worcester. Catherine loved her family and, above all, cherished the time she spent with her three granddaughters.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, July 15th, at 11:00am in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park Cemetery, Paxton. A calling hour in the funeral home will be held on Friday, July 15th, from 10:00 to 11:00am, before the service.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Christian Care Fund, c/o Charlton Baptist Church, 50 Hammond Hill Road, Charlton.
