Subscription Update Obituary

     Caroline G. (Giovanazzi) Iandoli, 84, of Pleasant St. in the Rochdale section of Leicester, died Saturday, March 7, 2015 at her home.

She was the wife of Carmen V. Iandoli who died in 1997. She leaves her son Anthony V. Iandoli and his wife Linda of Rochdale; two granddaughters, Heather Iandoli and Christine Iandoli; a great granddaughter Carmen Bella “Tweety” Iandoli all of Charlton; her sister Grace Konkel and her husband William of Charlton; nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by brothers, Giles and Robert Giovanazzi and sisters, Barbara Wigglesworth, Roberta Prince and Jeannie Giovanazzi.

Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Egidio and Grace (O’Rourke) Giovanazzi and later graduated from Worcester Hospital School of Nursing in 1950.

Caroline, a long time registered nurse was the owner and operator of Charlton Manor Rest Home before retiring in 2010.

She was a member of St. Aloysius-St.Jude Parish and the Worcester County Nurses Association. Along with her husband, they enjoyed many trips to Las Vegas, Foxwoods, Hampton and Old Orchard Beach. “Luv you Ma! You’re a character!”

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 10 at 10 a.m. in St. Aloysius-St. Jude Church, 489 Pleasant St., Leicester. Friends are asked to go directly to the church. Calling hours are private. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leicester Ambulance Fund, 3 Washburn Sq., Leicester 01524.
