Subscription Update Obituary

     Carol A. (Chauncey) Langevin, 69, of Worcester, died Thursday, November 30th in St. Vincent Hospital. Carol is survived by her husband of 47 years, Edward E. Langevin; her son, Edmund F. Langevin; her daughter, Doris M. Langevin; three brothers. Ernest, David and Wayne Chauncey all of Worcester; three sisters, Linda Verdini and Ruth Betz both of Worcester and Gail Melvin and her husband, Dennis of Leicester; and her sister-in-law, Vivian M. Langevin. Two brothers, Frederick Chauncey, Jr. and Joseph Chauncey predeceased her.

She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Frederick and Rita (Tetreault) Chauncey. Mrs. Langevin had been employed as an inspector for Capitol Footwear, L. B. Evans Footwear, and Francine’s Footwear and last worked at P and Q Services. Carol enjoyed time spent with her family.

Her funeral is Monday, December 4th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with her funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Sunday, December 3rd from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home, In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden Street, Worcester, MA 01606.
