Subscription Update Obituary

    Carol A. (Bello) Carlson, 66, of Millbury, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Aug. 19th at home, surrounded by her family, after a brief illness.

    She leaves her husband of 41 years, Russell L. Carlson Sr.; three children: Tina M. Pinto and her husband, Thomas of Millbury, David J. Carlson and his companion, Michele Gifford of North Grafton and Russell L. Carlson Jr. and his wife, Heather of Douglas; five grandchildren: Anthony D. and Nicholas D. Carlson of North Grafton, Matthew R., Katelin R. and Joseph A. Carlson of Douglas; a brother, John J. Bello Jr. and his wife, Holly of Florida; a sister, Rita M. McFadden and her husband, Robert of Shrewsbury; an aunt, Gladys Bello of Worcester; an uncle, Michael Vacca of Lanconia, NH; nieces, nephews and many cousins to whom she remained close. She was born in Worcester and is predeceased by her parents, John J. Bello Sr. and Josephine C. (Vacca) Bello; and a son, Joseph T. Carlson who passed away in 1975 at the age of one year.

    Mrs. Carlson worked at New England Newspaper Supply Co., as an accounts payable clerk, in Millbury for many years, before she retired in 2003. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who always put her family first and she will be remembered in their thoughts and prayers for as long as they live. Her family would like to thank the management and staff at the Summit Elder Care on Grafton St. in Worcester for all of the care and support that they provided for her and her family.

    Carol's calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23rd in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St in Millbury. Her Funeral Mass will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 24th in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St in Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Memorial contributions may be made to Summit Elder Care, 1369 Grafton St, Worcester, MA 01604.
