Subscription Update Obituary

     Carleton L. St. Amand, 71, of Palm Bay died Sunday, June 24th in UMass Memorial Hospital.
He leaves his wife of 50 years, Estelle W. (Parks) St. Amand; a son, David G. St. Amand and his wife Susan R. of Franklin; a daughter, Cheryl A. St. Amand-Heckman of Leominster; 2 brothers, Edmond and Gordon St. Amand both of Worcester; a grandson, Jacob Aaron St. Amand; a granddaughter, Ashley Marie St. Amand-Heckman; and uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins. His son, Mark C. St. Amand, died in 1993.
He was born in Worcester, the son of Edmond J. and Alma L. (Clark) St. Amand and attended Boys Trade and Commerce High School.
Mr. St. Amand worked as a maintenance mechanic for the Norton Company for 26 years until his retirement in 1992. Mr. St. Amand was a Korean Conflict Army veteran serving with the 82nd Airborne Division. He was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church, the Worcester Lodge of Elks, the Palm Bay Lodge of Elks and the American Legion Main South Post #341. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, the beach and carpentry.
The funeral is Wednesday, June 27th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Tuesday, June 26th from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home. Flowers may be sent or donations may be made to the American Stroke Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
