Carl E. Landgren, 71, of 605 Prospect St., West Boylston, died yesterday in Holden District Hospital.  He was the husband of Ruth E. (Sjolander) Landgren.  He was a machinist at Morgan Construction Co. for 38 years, retiring in 1970.  He was a member of Svea Gille Association and Birka Lodge.  Besides his widow, he leaves a son, Robert C. Langren; a brother, Clifford Landgren, both of Holden, and two grandsons.  He was born in Worcester, son of Carl and Ellen (Moe) Landgren, and lived in West Boylston 24 years. 

    Funeral services will be held at 11 am tomorrow in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., with the Rev. Nancy Bush officiating.  Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.  Calling hours at the funeral home are 7 to 8:30 tonight.
