Subscription Update Obituary

     Blanche B. (Bachand) Pisecki, 100, of Worcester, died Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Shrewsbury Crossings, Main St, Shrewsbury.

Her husband, Andrew H. Pisecki, died in 1979. Her companion of 25 years, George Jalbert, died in 2011. She leaves a daughter, Robin Kempskie of Nashua, NH; a sister Peggy Robidoux of Auburn, nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 great, great-grandchildren, a daughter-in-law Nancy Pisecki of Delray, FL, her former son-in-law Paul and his wife Donna of Princeton and many nephews and nieces. She is also predeceased by a son, Andrew N. Pisecki , her grandson Paul A. Kempskie, her brother Francis J. Bachand and his wife Clara, her sister Theresa Moncrief and her brother-in-law Wilfred Robidoux. She was born in Fitchburg, daughter of George E. and Lea (Cote) Bachand, and lived in Worcester most of her life.

Blanche worked part-time as a waitress for Goldstein Catering in Worcester for many years. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and wintering in Delray Beach, Florida for over 30 years. Blanche loved to dance and party and lived a fun, event-filled life.

The family would like to thank the staff at Shrewsbury Crossings who treated Blanche like family.

The funeral will be held Friday, April 7, 2017 from Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, with a Mass at 12:30 pm at North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Calling hours are Friday, April 7 from 10:30 – 11:30 am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Mustard Seed, 93 Piedmont St, Worcester MA 01609.
