Beverly L. Granger, 84, died Wednesday, January 6 in her granddaughter’s home in Webster after a valiant battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Her husband, Kenneth Granger died in 2013. She leaves a son Bruce W. Granger and his wife Valerie of Ware, a daughter Cheryl A. Raczynski of Sturbridge, two brothers, George Albro and his wife Lillian of Worcester, and Donald Albro of Barre, a sister Patricia Dionne of Marlborough, five grandchildren; Nicole, Michelle, Emily, Katelyn & Michael, three great-grandchildren Olivia, Aria & Madison, several nieces and nephews.

Beverley was born in Worcester, daughter of Nellie I. (Seaver) Albro and Glennon R. Albro. She was an operating room Registered Nurse Supervisor for 25 years at the Former Doctor’s Hospital in Worcester and then finished her career at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge for 18 years before retiring. She was a devoted OR nurse and a loving mother, who put family first. Among her interests, she found time to make desserts, including pies every Sunday. She loved spending time with her family and friends and in her earlier years held many holiday parties in Brookfield. She enjoyed many winters at Briny Breezes in Boynton Beach Florida. She also was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. A heartfelt thank you to her granddaughter Nicole and her husband John for taking such wonderful care of Beverly for the last year.
