Subscription Update Obituary

     Beverly A. (Lewis) Woodward, 74, of Spencer formerly of Auburn died Friday February 16, 2018 in Saint Vincent Hospital after an illness surrounded by her family.

Beverly was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Barrus) Lewis. She graduated from Commerce High School.

She had worked for T.J. Maxx in Auburn for 25 years before she retired in 2017. She previously had worked for CVS.

Beverly leaves behind her husband of 54 years, Ronald A. Woodward; two children, Brian A. “Woody” Woodward of Spencer and Tracey L. Gibbs of Worcester; four grandchildren, Kayla and Sheyanne Woodward and Timothy and Joshua Gibbs; a great grandson, Jaxson Gibbs; two sisters, Evelyn Sliwoski of Sturbridge and Rose Weagle of Auburn; also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, David Lewis.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Beverly’s family on Friday, Febuary 23, 2018 from 5-7 pm in the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn. Her funeral will be on Saturday February 24, 2018 with a funeral Mass at 10:00 am at Saint Ann’s Church, 654 Main Street, North Oxford. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Breast Cancer Research Foundation, 60 E.56th St, 8th floor, New York, NY 10022 (www.bcrf.org).
