Subscription Update Obituary

Betty Ann Harnois, 65, of Shrewsbury died Tuesday, May 25th in her home surrounded by her extended family. She leaves her siblings, Judy Harnois and her companion Earl of Worcester, Edward Harnois of Barre, Steven Harnois and his wife, Sharon of Spencer, and Donald Harnois and his wife, Marie of Worcester; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Richard Harnois.

She was born in Worcester the daughter of the late Wilfred P. and Eunice (Wilson) Harnois and attended Doherty High School. Betty enjoyed shopping and listening to music. Her favorite pastime was coloring and interacting with others.

The family would like to thank Sharon, Steven, and Saesha for helping Betty on her journey. The staff both past and present of the Glavin Center and of 185 Lake Street were Betty’s extended family who offered her compassion and care for many years, the family appreciates everything you did for her.

Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice, 120 Thomas Street, Worcester, MA 01608. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements.
