Beth H. (Anderson) Stevens, 61, a loving and devoted mother, daughter and sister, died Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Saint Vincent Hospital with her family by her side.

She is survived by her beloved children, Andrea A. McGuigan and her husband Timothy of West Brookfield and James J. Stevens, with whom she lived; her mother, Ruby A. (Dahlstrom) Draper of Worcester; a sister, Susan J. Anderson of Worcester; her former husband James Stevens of Worcester; her longtime companion, David Ahmari, and her dear childhood friend Barbara Stevens of Holden. She was predeceased by her father Lloyd E. Anderson.

Beth was born in Worcester and graduated from Burncoat High School. She worked for the City of Worcester in City Hall for over 30 years, retiring as an auditor this year. She was a lifelong and active member of Emanuel Lutheran Church and was very proud to be one of the first women to deliver and serve communion to members who were unable to attend church services. She loved to cook and bake and she enjoyed bringing birthday cakes to her co-workers. Beth was a kind and loving person who was always there with a helping hand. Her children were her world and she will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, December 7 at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 200 Greenwood Street. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Visiting hours are Tuesday, December 6th from 4:00 until 7:00pm at Lindquist Lundin Funeral Home, 36 Butler Street, Worcester.
